We are Alastair and Bobbi Maclean and we would like to introduce you to Ruthven House, our home, which is conveniently located in the countryside on the outskirts of Kingussie, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.
Here at Ruthven, we offer our guests a peaceful retreat with 4-Star Bed and Breakfast Accommodation in the three spacious rooms in the Main House. We also have two cosy Self-Catering Cottages, carefully converted from a former workshop and store in the grounds to the rear of the main house.
Our three comfortable, spacious Guest Bedrooms, all named after local rivers, are individually decorated in warm, elegant colours and are equipped with everything you will need for your complete relaxation with a touch of luxury.
Our out of town location means that all the rooms are quiet, ensuring that you can enjoy an undisturbed night’s sleep, a peaceful evening with a good book or relaxing, catching up with a bit of TV.
Each room has quality furniture in keeping with the age and decor of the house, generous wardrobe and cupboard space, individually controlled heating, a colour television, alarm clock, a heated rail stocked with fluffy hand and bath towels, quality toiletries, a hairdryer, sewing kit and shoeshine pack.
Your comfy bed will be ready and waiting for you, made up with a snug duvet, non-allergenic pillows and with percale cotton sheets and pillowcases.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, both with en-suite facilities and one room on the ground floor, with a private shower and WC right next to the room itself.
