A special feature in this B&B is the self-contained 2 bedroomed suite, ideally suited for friends and families travelling together or for 1/2 people seeking extra space and privacy.
The suite provides a double bedded room and a twin bedded room, lounge with comfortable sofas, dining table/chairs, TV and video, hot drink facilities and fridge. Although not self-catering, guests are welcome to use the facilities for that occasional supper "at home".
On the upper level there is a double bedded room (king size bed) with spacious en-suite facilities. Single supplement for this room is £5.00.
Rowan House is a modern split level comfortable villa situated in a quiet hillside location, about 7 minutes walk from hotels, restaurants, cafes and gift shops. Our elevated position gives all guests rooms outstanding views of the Spey Valley and surrounding mountains. Local activities include hill walking, birdwatching, golf, fishing, pony trekking, cycling and winter sports. There are many places of historic interest closeby and several interesting circular tours can be made by car.
In summer guests enjoy breakfast in the bright airy dining room with a large picture window. From here there is access to the south facing balcony, giving panoramic views over the valley. In winter breakfast is served in our library overlooking the hill garden where roe deer, red squirrel and a variety of birds can sometimes be seen foraging for food.
